Radiation Therapist
A Radiation Therapist is part of the care team that treats patients with cancer and other diseases through the use of radiation treatments. They work with doctors who specialize in in radiation therapy (radiation oncologists) and nurses who specialize in in caring for cancer patients.
Education Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree
- Certification program in radiation therapy
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART/T)
- State license (as applicable)
