Physician Assistant

A physician assistant is a health care professional who practices independently and in collaboration with other health care professionals to treat and manage patients’ health problems. They serve in various settings as researchers, consultants, and patient advocates. They perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose, and manage illnesses and disease.

Education Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited physician assistant training program

Certification, Registration, and/or Licensure Requirements:

  • Certified by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants
