Nurse Anesthestist
A nurse anesthestist is a nurse who works under the supervision of a MD to administer anesthesia to patient during surgical procedures, manipulation or setting of fractures, deliveries, and other therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.
Education Requirements
- Registered Nurse
- Completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
Certification, Registration and/or Licensure Requirements:
- RN License
- Certified and Registered as a Nurse Anesthestist
- PALS
- ACLS
- Malpractice Insurance
