Cardiovascular Technicians
A Cardiovascular Technician assists in cardiovascular procedures in the Cardiac Cath and EP Lab by scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring under the supervision of the performing interventional cardiologist or electrophysiologist. Provides technical support in the diagnosis and treatment of heart and vascular disease.
Education Requirements
Associates Degree from an accredited cardiovascular technology program
A Non-Invasive Cardiovascular Technician provides clinical support by performing non-invasive cardiology procedures and remote cardiac monitoring as directed. The technician performs EKG’s, Stress Test, Holter monitor, SAECG and remote cardiac monitoring in a manner that ensures accurate and complete examination by complying with established procedures and policies.
Education Requirements
This role is on-the-job training and requires skill in communicating clearly and effectively using standard English in written, oral and verbal format to achieve high productivity and efficiency. Skill to write legibly and record information accurately as necessary to perform job duties.
