Medical Physicist
Medical physicists apply their knowledge of physics to the development and use of medical radiation treatments, devices, and technologies. They make sure the equipment is operating correctly and are often involved directly with a patient’s diagnosis and treatment, as well as with radiation safety and product development. They consult with their colleagues to offer advice and resources to solve problems that occur when using radiation therapy or nuclear medicine.
