CAREER PATHWAYS
Both Information Systems and Information Technology jobs deal with the usage of computers, but there are some differences.
Jobs in information technology are more about the hardware, software, and telecommunications.
These roles work behind the scenes to support those who use the devices or are those who create the software, web pages and build networks.
Jobs in information systems create, share, and distribute information that is generated by computers and their users. These roles are primarily concerned with extracting data from various sources to accomplish various tasks.
