• Be proactive: Don’t wait for feedback to come to you, seek it out proactively.

CFCD celebrates the 2025 Summer Scholars Pre-Med Internship Program

On Aug. 14, we celebrated the end of the 2025 Summer Scholars Program. Throughout the summer, 17 pre-med college sophomores and juniors were exposed to a variety of medical disciplines via clinical shadowing experiences. They had the opportunity to explore topics and issues in health care, and Baptist professionals helped them make informed decisions about a career path in medicine. We want to thank each department that helped make this a great learning opportunity for our pre-med students. We look forward to next year’s cohort.
